تعلن مؤسسة عبد الحميد شومان في عمان - الاردن عن حاجتها الى : Communications & PR Manager POSITION: Communications & PR Manager at Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, The Arab Bank’s Cultural and Social Responsibility Arm. Reports to: CEO Responsible for: The Communications and PR team POSITION DESCRIPTION: This energetic, creative, and self-directed professional serves as the chief communications and outreach strategist, overseeing all communications, PR, Events, branding and outreach efforts for the organization. S/he is responsible for devising and implementing short- and long-term strategies for all communications and PR activities to help support the organization’s strategic goals. As the Communications & PR Manager, s/he reports directly to the CEO and is part of the organization’s executive management team. Roles and Responsibilities: Strategy: Develop and implement The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s communications and PR strategy. Ensure the branding guidelines are met for all The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation programs and activities and ensure it is in line with The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s mission, vision and strategy Undertake the necessary monitoring and evaluation activities in order to determine and to ensure the success of the communications and PR strategies. Contribute expertise in the areas of media and online engagement and public outreach to The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s overall strategic planning. Communication & PR /Publications: Coordinate and manage the development and production of all communication materials for The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation and its programs to effectively support the advancement of The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Oversee, writes and edits all communication documents including publications, communication materials, press releases and edits official letters, nominations letters and award letters relevant to the work of The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation. Oversee the production of all print materials, publications, RFAs, projects documents and reports. Prepare key message for the Foundation to be used for PR and communication purposes. Coordinate and manage public outreach and events to promote The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation programs and activities. Set the visibility guidelines throughout the grant making process and follow up with the grantees that The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation requirements are met. Spread knowledge about The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation programs and activities through traditional, online and social media and website to convey The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s mission to diverse constituencies. Ensure that The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation website is updated and regularly enhanced by posting announcements, prizes, lectures, film screenings, articles, blogs, videos and other relevant content, and by overseeing the website to ensure quality. Develop print materials and branding strategies for employees use. Ensure that all The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation output, including publications, articles, press kits and key correspondence copy, is in The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation 's branding guidelines. Set and implement an internal communication plan to promote The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s activities and programs within The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation. Assist in updating and developing The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s presence on social media networks. Develop new and creative communication streams, including podcasts and videos. Oversee development and management of database systems for communications & outreach Events Management: Participate in the planning, coordinating and executing communication products and publications related to The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s events. Lead the management of all events of The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation including lectures, forums, conferences, ceremonies and celebrations. Ensure the development and implementation of guidelines, policies and procedures for any events done by programs ranging from conferences to workshops. Research venues and vendors that fit the occasion within budget. Schedule staff and Volunteers for the day of the event. Oversee each phase of the event to ensure it runs smoothly. General Recruit, train, motivate and manage the department staff (and volunteers where appropriate) to assist in carrying out the above responsibilities. Develop and administer a tracking system for all The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s interactions with the press and members of the public. Serve as The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation spokesperson to the media and for the public. Write speeches for The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation’s events when needed. Develop objectives and KPIs for managing the teams and measuring their achievements – Implement a management by objectives and evaluation by deliverables system Develop the annual communications, PR & outreach budgets, identify, and monitor resources required to achieve stated goals. Develop and implement a “loop of information sharing” among all staff, ensuring that communication is positive and constructive Represent The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation to stakeholders, friends, partners and the public. Complete other duties as assigned by the CEO. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor degree in communications or marketing. At least 10 years' experience in communications (minimum 5 years in a managerial level)-preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Exceptional written communications skills in Arabic and English, with ability to adapt style to suit different communications media and audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills. Leadership skills. General understanding of the not-for-profit sector. Enthusiasm for new opportunities presented by blogging and social media. Creative and innovative approach to communications and branding.
